In addition, the security radio instantly detects vulnerabilities and attacks on all channels so that all security threats are contained without compromising your network’s stability. Even if the access point you select does not have a dedicated security radio, Meraki equips the client-service radios with some of the key components of Air Marshal so that your network is still secure. In addition, each access point has Layer 7 firewall for traffic shaping and one-click secure guest access for internet-only isolation.

Like other Meraki products, the access points are managed through the cloud-based Dashboard. Instantly see your entire network with unmatched visibility. The dashboard is stocked with rich analytics so administrators can quickly create access control and application usage policies, optimizing both the end-user experience and network security. 

When deploying a new Meraki access point, simply plug and play. Together, all of the Meraki access points work to create a self-configuring, self-healing mesh network. This network automatically optimizes itself based on the hardware models deployed and their usage profiles. Configure access points either network-wide or simply an individual unit-by-unit basis. This means that administrators can easily deploy and oversee all access points without an on-site IT staff.
