While smartphones can handle answering customers’ questions, taking pictures of damaged goods, and reaching any worker to help with a task all at the press of a button, it cannot compare to Zebra’s TC20. Zebra takes the idea of an easy-to-use smartphone and adds additional features — such as an imager, Push-To-Talk, and the Zebra’s Mobility DNA — to turn it into an easy-to-use mobile computer that’s just right for retail or light warehouse use.
The TC20 has a 4.3 inch, all-touch, color display and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. The display is bright enough to view indoors or outdoors. Featuring scan buttons on each side, volume and power buttons, and a PTT key for quick navigation. The TC20 All-Touch has an on-screen keyboard, while the TC20 Keypad has a numeric keypad beneath the display in addition to the on-screen keyboard.
For durability, the TC20 has a seal rating of IP65 (totally protected against dust and low pressure jets of water). Capable of handling 4 foot drops to tile over concrete at room temperature, it is also built to withstand 300 tumbles at 1.6 feet. The operating temperature is from 14°F to 122°F.
