Rugged Windows 10 Tablet for the Warehouse
Zebra originally introduced this tablet for the industrial hand-held tablet space, but it has grown to be a very popular warehouse vehicle mounted computer. One of its main uses has been with SAP customers running ITSMobile. The ET50 also runs standard terminal emulation (TE) for non-SAP users. The mounting docks provide powered USB ports to connect a barcode scanner and keyboard. If you are considering a tablet for the warehouse, this one could be it.
The rugged ET50 tablet comes in two high-resolution color display sizes - 8.3” or 10.1” - that are viewable indoors, outdoors, and even in bright sunlight. Featuring a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance display, the touchscreen is usable when wet and when wearing gloves. It is equipped with 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.
Zebra knows that your ET50 Windows 10 Tablet needs to be operational in even the most challenging environments, in case of spills and drops. The rugged ET50 is totally protected against dust and from jets of water (IP65) and has been tested for vibration, so you can mount this device in almost any vehicle, such as a forklift. The tablet’s standard drop specs are 3.28 ft to concrete or with the optional rugged frame, increase your drop specs to 5.9 ft to concrete.
In addition, the rugged ET50 Windows 10Tablet features an expansion back that allows users to attach a handstrap, scanner plus a hot-swappable battery that also charges the internal battery so your device never has to leave the floor for charging. For data capture, there is an 8MP rear-facing color camera or extend with Zebra’s SE4710 or SE4750 scan engine via the easy-to-install and-use expansion pack for scanning 1D/2D barcodes and documents of varying sizes. The ET50 tablet also has a 2MP front-facing color camera.
