The MV12WE is a lower-budget model of the MV12W compact dome security camera. Like the MV12W, it also captures the whole scene with its 114° horizontal field of view but it only has 128G of storage instead of 256G. The MV12WE is cloud managed and equipped with powerful advanced analytics managed through the Meraki Dashboard. It records and stores up to 40 days of 24/7 continuous video per camera. It is also equipped with IR lights for night-vision up to 49 ft. away.
Because the innovative architecture of the MV12WE places high-endurance storage locally on the camera, the Network Video Recorder (NVR) and Video Management System (VMS) are removed from the equation. This simplifies your installation and scaling and eliminates major network security vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure.
With advanced analytics, the MV12WE is capable of machine learning for intelligent object detection, classification, and tracking of people. This takes the camera beyond simply providing physical safety and security to providing business intelligence as well.
