For efficient transmission of data, the MR45 provides a maximum of 3.5 Gbps aggregate frame rate with the concurrent 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz radios. It offers MU-MIMO and OFDMA for transmission to multiple clients, which is useful if your location uses multiple mobile devices. Furthermore, the MR45 is integrated with a multigigabit 1G/2.5G Ethernet uplink that ensures maximum capacity for this high performance 802.11ax compatible access point.
Wireless security is an ever-present concern, and Meraki built the MR45 to give you peace of mind with the security and stability of your network. The MR45 features a third radio dedicated to delivering 24x7 wireless security and RF analytics. This radio constantly monitors the local RF environment and adjusts RF usage to avoid interference. For guest access, the MR45 is equipped with one-click guest isolation so guests can only access the Internet. The MR45 also has an integrated Layer 7 firewall with mobile device policy management for further protection.
Lastly, the MR45 is one of the easiest to use and deploy. Security updates, bug fixes, configurations, and more are all handled through the cloud-based Meraki Dashboard interface. Meraki has built the MR45 for zero-touch deployment. Therefore this access point can even be deployed remotely in a few minutes without on-site IT staff. All of this ensures that your network is kept up-to-date with minimal on-site visits.
