Access Point with Integrated Gigabit Switch
Meraki’s MR30H is an indoor access point, ideal for general coverage for in-room hotel or dormitory deployments or when needing IP-enabled devices in the same room. Because it has 4 ethernet ports, this versatility of the MR30H dramatically reduces the need for cabling infrastructure in multi-tenant dwellings while still providing the ability to connect several wired and wireless devices to the network.

It is powered primarily via Power-over-Ethernet, or it is 802.3af compatible. The MR30H has four radios that all run concurrently:
- 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n client access radio
- 5 GHz 802.11a/n/ac client access radio
- 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz WIDS/WIPS, spectrum analysis, & location analytics radio
- 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio with beacon and BLE scanning support
For efficient transmission of data, the MR30H has MU-MIMO support and a theoretical maximum aggregate frame rate of 1.3 Gbps.
The MR30H includes Meraki’s AirMarshal Radio, a third radio dedicated to delivering 24x7 wireless security and RF analytics. This radio constantly monitors the local RF environment and adjusts RF usage to avoid interference. For guest access, the MR30H is equipped with one-click guest isolation so guests can only access the Internet. This access point also has an integrated Layer 7 firewall with mobile device policy management for further protection.
Lastly, when using a Meraki access point, you get one of the easiest to use and deploy access points on the market. The MR30H is capable of a zero-touch deployment, and all security updates, bug fixes, configurations, and more are handled through a cloud-based interface, the Meraki Dashboard.
