The Sato CL608e Series Printer offers an affordably priced industrial printer. It prints up to a 6.5"" wide image on labels and tags up to 7"" wide, with 203 or 305 dpi resolutions at speeds up to 8"" per second. These printers will produce superior images and deliver lifelong performance, in most demanding industrial applications.
Designed for heavy duty applications, this compact printer is simple to operate. Only two push button switches are needed to control the SATO CL608. Five LED indicators keep the operator informed of machine status. Configuring the SATO CL608 is fast and simple thanks to a full array of secondary controls. The printer's rugged steel case accommodates a full 8" roll of labels, protecting them from the harsh environments found in manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Label and ribbon loading is fast and easy via the printer's easy-open case and unobstructed paper path.

The SATO CL608's 203dpi, 6" wide print head makes it possible to print large format compliance labels at top speed without rotating the images. With its 16 built-in symbologies and 22 text fonts, the SATO CL608 is the perfect way to print labels for a wide variety of applications.
Labels from as small as 0.78" tall and 1.96" wide to as large as 7" wide by 14" long may be printed with the SATO CL608. Up to 50" long with an optional PCMCIA memory card.
For maximum throughput, a 32-bit high speed RISC processor is at the heart of every SATO CL608. Also built into every SATO CL608 is the exclusive SATO print head control feature. This feature constantly monitors print head conditions and automatically adjusts print energy for optimum and consistent print quality.
The CL608 maintains the SATO tradition of incorporating a user replaceable print head for the lowest maintenance costs. No complicated adjustments or special tools are required.
For convenient communication with the host, both RS-232 serial and Centronics parallel interfaces are built into every SATO CL608. The SATO CL608 constantly monitors BOTH interfaces, automatically switching to the one receiving data; no user or host commands are necessary to select an interface. An additional connector is provided for attaching a variety of external accessories or for synchronization with other labeling equipment.
