The rugged ET56 tablet has an 8.4 in. high-resolution color display that is viewable indoors, outdoors, and even in bright sunlight. Featuring a Corning Gorilla Glass display, the touchscreen is usable when wet and when wearing gloves. Furthermore, the display is shatter- and scratch-resistant. The ET56 is equipped with 802.11 a/b/g/n/d/h/i/k/r/ac and Bluetooth 5.0.

The rugged ET56 is totally protected against dust and from jets of water (IP65) and has been tested for vibration, so you can mount this device in almost any vehicle, such as a forklift. And in case you’re worried about drops and falls, the ET56 drop specs are 3.3 ft to concrete or put on the optional rugged frame and increase your drop specs to 5.9 ft to concrete.

In addition, the rugged ET56 Android Tablet features an expansion back  that allows users to attach a handstrap, scanner plus a hot-swappable battery so your device never has to leave the floor for charging. For data capture, there is a 13MP rear-facing color camera or extend with Zebra’s SE4750 scan engine via the easy-to-install and-use expansion pack for scanning 1D/2D barcodes and documents of varying sizes. The ET56 tablet also has a 5MP front-facing color camera.
